8. Determine what would make you buy your product, and then try to incorporate that idea into your headline.
9. Avoid making your headline so short that you don’t get the main point across.
10. Avoid clever headlines that makes the reader think “how clever.” Cleverness rarely gets people to read your web page or spend money.
11. Avoid headlines that sound dead, or like they should be at the bottom of the statue like “To Server Humanity Better…”
12. Suggest in your headline that your copy contains useful and valuable information.
13. Use your headline to reach out and grab the reader’s attention.
14. Avoid hard to grasp headlines that require the reader to think about what you are saying.
15. NEVER trust your own reaction to your headlines. Instead, get the reaction of someone else.
16. If you emphasize a word in your headline, make sure that word means something and is important.
17. Remember that large type words act as a stopper. They get people to stop and pay attention, so choose the best words that will get the most attention.
18. Don’t let an artist or layout person decide which headline words to emphasize. An artist thinks in terms of color contrasts and tones, not in terms of making money!
19. Avoid writing an ad that attracts the wrong people. Make sure your headline attracts the people that are most interested in what you have to offer.
If you will follow these simple guidelines for writing your headline copy, you will be more likely to have a successful headline and a successful ad! Take some time right now and look back over these guidelines.
Then, try to write your own headlines. When you have a few that you think are wonderful, run them by a friend. If that friend asks to see the rest of your copy, you know you have written a true killer headline.

The methods by which we use to contact each other, especially in Internet marketing activities continue to undergo dramatic transformation. In the not to distant past (only a couple of years ago!) we kept in touch with customers – existing or potential new ones, using the telephone, fax machines, direct mail marketing and even in-person meetings. Today, people expect more frequent updates, new information, and the latest of ideas. So much so that it is literally impossible to keep up with this dizzying pace and certainly not on a continuing or ongoing basis with any consistency. Setting up a blog on your web site – and having an associated RSS feed – means you can keep in constant touch with your clients and potential customers. Plus you don’t have to email them and they can get your latest news without having to visit your web site.
So how does this all work? A blog is really a fancy name for a web page that gets updated regularly. It’s nothing special. There are several methods of writing ‘blogs’, but they are nothing more than computer programs which allow you to easily update a web page. Far and away the easiest way to start a blog is with a popular blog website. One example is called blogger.com.
However, for keeping in touch with your customers, RSS is the key. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. What this means is that your blog can be automatically delivered to people who want to read it – you don’t have to send it to them and neither do they have to come and collect it. All they need is the address of your RSS Feed and their RSS Newsreader can do the job for them. There are several RSS readers available and new web browsers incorporate the ability to read RSS feeds and keep them updated.
Whenever you add new content to your blog, the RSS Feed automatically gets updated in every one’s Reader program or web browser. That means you are guaranteed to be able to keep in touch with clients and prospects. You don’t have to do anything other than produce the content. Equally, you don’t face the problems of email filters and anti-spam programs blocking your email. Furthermore, people tend to read RSS Feeds because they have subscribed to them whereas they tend to ignore non urgent emails.
After a small amount of basic research and reading, you will quickly see, there are numerous advantages to Blogs and RSS Feeds. One of the biggest reasons is that search engines love them. This is because blogs provide fresh and new content – precisely the thing that searchers are looking for. Hence the search engines are actively pushing blogs higher up the search engine ranking. What this means to affiliate marketers is that if you don’t have a blog for your business, you are potentially reducing your chances of a high search engine ranking. You need a blog nowadays to get noticed by the search engines.
For all the reasons mentioned above (and many, many more), blogging is essential. Not only does it improve your web presence, it also means you can keep in touch with clients and prospects more easily. All the marketing research you can find will tell you that regular contact with your customers is a vital component in retaining existing clients, as well as gaining new business. Don’t put it off any longer; it is time to get your blog going—today!

Blog Marketing Tactic Many people with blogs get disheartened after a few weeks or months when their blog fails to attract thousands of readers. It is a real shame, because if bloggers followed a few simple blog marketing steps, then they would probably find that there is a willing audience just dying to read about most topics. So what can a blogger do to get noticed?
Blog about a niche: The world doesn’t really need another ‘vanity blog’ about what you had for breakfast. Unless you are a super-model good-looking teenage girl who wants to put a lot of photos on your blog, then you are probably going to have a hard time getting noticed. If you already have a vanity blog and are wondering why you are not getting traffic, then you need to know that the vanity blog market is totally saturated. Consider starting or changing your blog to some other topic – an interest or a hobby for example.
Next, you need to start posting to forums. Put the URL of the blog in your forum signature (don’t spam forums saying “look at my blog”). If you just join in the conversation naturally, then people will get curious and you will get a few more readers. If the forum you post in is also to do with a similar topic to your blog then you will probably get repeat readers from it! Try to find the most popular forums in the niche you are writing about. To find them, just go over to Google and search for your niche keyword plus ‘forum’ and you should get a list. Try to find forums with at least a few thousand active members.
Make sure to do track backs and ping backs to other blogs that you have linked to so that they know about you. When people find out that you have talked about them, they will come to see what you said. So will some of their readers. Talking about popular stories from popular blogs may get you more than just a few visitors too.
Comment on other people’s blogs as much as you can (without spamming). In most cases you can put a link back to your own blog and people do follow these links. It is also good to target blogs that talk about the same subject as you, because then you will get targeted readers who are more likely to continue reading your blog. (Avoid using “comment spam” programs as Google can track this and will penalize you).
Most importantly, you need to keep blogging! Nobody will return to a blog that is updated weekly or only occasionally. You need to add more content at least once per day, especially in the early stages of getting your blog noticed. This is hugely important.
Now if you follow these few rules, then you should be well on the way to getting a constant readership for your blog.

Filed under: internet marketing; Tagged as: blog, blogging, engine, internet, marketing, online business, optimization, Ranking, seo, Tool, WordComments OffOne of the popularly used marketing tool that is accessible on the internet is called word press. It is known as a blog publishing application and content management system. It is used to make a blog for the benefit of your online business or your own website which is used to promote your business products, ideas or services. The good thing about this is that it’s easy to construct this in just a few minute of your time, even if you don’t have the knowledge on HTML.
SEO strategies and techniques can also be applied to blogs for popularity. You may be blogging for personal expression or for a small business but SEO can make you gain mouse clicks by the hundreds almost overnight. Search Engine Optimization can be easy you just have to understand the simple things that can improve your rankings. Here are some of the important factors we have to consider:
1.Having inbound links is very important:
The overall number of incoming links to your site is a huge factor in achieving high rankings on search engines. This links shows you how important your website is to Google and the rest of the Internet. If your website is important then it will give you a better ranking. Same with having lots of links on your website, this will make you website have better rankings than your competition.
2.Having links from quality website is a plus:
The quantity of incoming links to your website are important, search engines also looks at the quality of the websites that are linked to yours. You should have links related and relevant to the content of your website as well. A website link with many links pointing to it will increase your search engine rankings more than with a website with fewer links. 3.Put your pages into mind:
When a single page of your website is listed for just one keyword phrase, search engines still include all of the pages of your site. If you optimize a lot of pages of your site for different keywords you have to make sure that they are all in relation to a certain topic. It will be easier to get higher rankings this way because your site will be considered important.
The main use of SEO is not to scam the search engines into giving your site a higher rank. They are too smart for that. If you do everything the right way then you will get the most excellent rankings on Google and other important search engines.

When they tell their friends and family about the site then your consumer group will have grown even more. This is a fast way to get started. You will have to invest some time however. You can offer these employees products to try and give them the task of finding blogs where they can appropriately “praise” the product. By paying these people to do the task, you will be getting the work done that you need without having to devote much time. Consumer testimonials go a long way with other consumers. If these bloggers are productive enough, you will see an increase due to it.
Building Relationships
Smart business owners know that they can go further with the help of others. A great way to connect and build relationships with other businesses is via their blog. If you are a regular poster who values their business, they will be more likely to work with you. Working together with advertising is a great ideas. You can swap ad space for no fee if you like. When people have no idea who you are, they are not going to feel comfortable working with you. The better your reputation is, the more likely they will trust you.
